transition time

Now that the school year is all wrapped up and my summer internship doesn't start for a few weeks, I am in limbo. I wanted this couple of weeks to relax and get my stuff together to make my transition to Sioux Falls a little bit smoother. I also have to make a trip home for cousin's graduations and to see my lovely family. So I will head to my childhood home tomorrow for about a week. Wish me luck because I will need it.

I love going home and spending time with my parents, brother, sister-in-law, niece, and pets. I do miss them all...but trips home are often a hit or miss thing with me. I can usually only last about 5 days before the boredom gets really intense. It may be different this time since my dad is hurt and will be home during the days this week. So at least I will have an actual person to talk to instead of just the cats. They also just got high-speed internet so maybe I will do a little blogging to curb the boredom.

But it seems lately, that my mom and I are not on the same page once again and nothing I do is right. So that means I will have to be on my toes and watch what I say as I do not want another argument, like the one that took place over easter. Tensions will also be raised a bit due to visiting family members; I really just have to put my 'happy face' on and try to make the best of it.

So while I would love to be going to Tennessee with my friend this week, I instead am making the short trek home. Like I mentioned before, wish me luck.
