Squeeze play.

Since it is the last day of June, I wanted to squeeze in another post before starting a new month. Man, I cannot believe it is going to be July. Summer always flies by sooo fast. So I guess this will be an update of summer 2009 thus far.

I am in week 6 of my internship and I have roughly 6.5 weeks left. It is kinda nice to know that it is basically half over with and then I can graduate and officially join the real world. Or at least try it out.

I couldn't really plan any sweet vacations for this summer because of my internship, but may try to take in a concert or two...still waiting for some tour dates to be released so the one show might not happen until the fall which is fine by me. I also want to fit in a trip to Mpls to visit my favorite uncle in the world. I miss him and always have a good time visiting him so I just need to pick a weekend and go. I also really want to go to a twins game since it is the last season in the metrodome. Pretty excited for outdoor baseball next year though.

I am trying to utilize the pool at my apartment complex as much as I can, so I don't regret it later and as a result, got a little bit too much sun this past weekend. I would say I am bronzing nicely in the days after, but will probably be peeling in the upcoming weeks. Oh well...fingers crossed that I don't. I also am really enjoying the older gentlemen who like to strike up conversations with me at the pool. One even told me I looked lovely lying in the sun. How sweet of him. So if anyone wants to join in on those adventures, just let me know!

I am contemplating cutting my hair shorter, but trying really hard to fight the urge. Maybe I will have to appease those feelings by coloring it. Just need a change of some sort...

So I guess I would say this summer has been pretty good so far. I really enjoy living with Melissa and actually am enjoying Sioux Falls. It has been fun and I hope for more fun to come as the rest of summer plays out.
